The Christ Church After School Program, also known as BLAST provides a safe supervised place for early adolescents to spend time on school days while parents are at work.

Our staff works with small groups providing a variety of academic activities, cultural enrichment, field trips, homework help and more! It's a great place for teenagers who enjoy meeting new friends while being active.

BLAST is an after-school program in Upper Darby for older elementary and middle school youth, grades 4-8. We started this ten years ago to:

• improve reading, math and writing  performance in the regular school,
• increase life resiliency skills,
• expand students' creative & cultural opportunities,
• build mentoring relationships with adults, and
• encourage family participation.

If you have or know of a child who is not a Kidgits Member at the Granite Run Mall, they need to become a member today! As a Kidgits Member, they will receive free goodies and presents, access to all monthly mall events, and be a VIP shopper!

Thanks to a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Upper Darby School District, our After-School Program was expanded to 3 hours a day, Mondays through Thursdays, with a reduced cost per child.
